If you want to have the best time of your life and best-spend weekend of your life, go to Madrid, the cosmopolitan capital city of Spain. What else would you want to know about the business center of Spain? Of course, everything there is to learn about Madrid and Madrid will surely not disappoint.

As home of the Royal Family, Spanish government, and the perfect getaway location for your weekend, Madrid will make your Friday, Saturday and Sunday the most fruitful and jam-packed three days of your life. So, spend your Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in any of these places:

Friday of Your Madrid Weekend

On Friday, around 4:00 to 4:30pm it would be nice to be out and about in the city particularly in Plaza Mayor. Based on history, Plaza Mayor was once a 17th century square for bull fights, executions, and trials and as you have your close encounters with the Plaza’s arches, painted facades, and balconies you will feel you have been back in the ancient time.

As you move on, you will also pass by the Plaza de la Paja and have a peek of Jardine del Principe de Anglona. And if you want to have a drink as you continue your walk, you can drop by at Deli cafe and bar and take a sip of herbal tree served in Moroccan mug. Then at 6pm, you can visit San Francisco el Grande Basilica near the Plaza and enjoy the paintings of San Bernardino de Siena.

The night life in Madrid offers a very good atmosphere especially at Cafe Central or Plaza del Angel. If you are a true blue and jazz lover you will simply enjoy the night music in Madrid and Cafe Central is open until Saturday.

Saturday of Your Madrid Weekend

On Saturday, if you are a serious post card collector don’t miss Regalos Originales that offers thousands of presents that cost a real treasure. To make sure you get the best offerings you desire ask for Silvia de la Torre and she will let you in a room full of oil paintings, rosaries, opera glasses, music boxes, posters, and everything that is valuable.

Bars shouldn’t be missed during your Madrid weekend especially on Saturday night. For a small cocktail bar go to Fernando del Diego’s and enjoy the best mixtures of cocktails in Madrid like the signature Diego vodka, Bols Advocat, apricot brandy, and a splash of lime.

Sunday of Your Madrid Weekend

And for the best restaurant for your Madrid weekend which you can enjoy most on Sunday, El Mollete is the best restaurant to be. However, don’t go there without reservations because the restaurant offers limited space for 26 diners to maintain the coziness there is. And to get the best services: entrust your entire dinner to Tomas Blanco and request for mollete or fried bread in oil, artichokes and scallops Gorgonzola croquettes, and, of course, huevos rotos.

Madrid has so much places and activities to offer and at the end of your Madrid weekend you will surely want to enjoy another Madrid weekend the soonest time possible.
